AI adoption isn’t just about technology—it’s about people and culture. Many AI initiatives fail because employees don’t trust or understand AI’s role. Building confidence in AI will be a key challenge to adoption, and will involve education, transparency, communication & coaching.

From improving AI literacy, to establishing new roles, the evolving role of your leadership and changes you might make to your values - your business readiness plan will need some proper thought, not after-thought.  Planning upfront will ensure that teams embrace AI rather than resist it, embedding AI into daily workflows in a way that enhances, rather than disrupts, operations.

Asking people to change is never easy - but if the change is perceived as a threat to jobs then resistance will be understandably strong. Your people will need confidence about your ambitions for AI and what it might mean for them - they'll want to see investment in L&D to build internal AI capabilities balanced with use of third-parties, and they'll need change management support to help them feel part of the change, not victim to it.
